It should be noted that the state-led telecom network is gearing up to roll out 4G in the country this year and probably the 5G network in the coming year. The new move could be a strategic plan to introduce new plans when the latest network comes into place.
BSNL removed special tariff plans
BSNL Rs 71: To recall the BSNL packs that are removed. The Rs 71 pack offered 30 paise per minute for calling. This means there are no free calling and messages. Customers also get Rs 20 of usage value for 30 days. There are no other additional benefits to customers.
BSNL Rs 104: The BSNL Rs 104 had a validity of 18 days and came with special discount coupons and benefits worth Rs 99.

BSNL Rs 135: As for the Rs 135 STV plan. This offered 1440 minutes of calling time, including on-net/off-net. However, customers will not get any data befits. This pack offered 24 days of validity.
BSNL Rs 395: This special tariff voucher offered 3000 minutes of on-net calling and 1800 minutes of off-net calling. However, for consumption of these benefits, customers used to pay 20 paise per minute. Additionally, the plan offered 2GB of data per day for 71 days. The speed is reduced to 80 Kbps after the data ends.
BSNL STV Rs 269 and Rs 769 plans
Besides removing the plans, BSNL has introduced a Festival Dhamaka offer to its customers, these include STV Rs 269 and STV Rs 769. The former comes with unlimited calling, 2GB of data per day, 100 messages per day, BSNL tunes, Zing app access, an Eros Now subscription and more.
The BSNL STV Rs 769 ships with unlimited calling, 2GB of data per day, BSNL Tune’s access, 100 messages per day, content from the Lokdhun application, Zing app access, and Eros Now Entertainment access for 90 days.
