- RedmiBook 13 will be the first Xiaomi laptop launching in India
- However, it could be rebranded and launched under the Mi brand instead
- Teaser posters shared by Ishan Agarwal show Intel Core i7 processor and bezel-less display
The RedmiBook 13 India launch is set for June 11th, 91mobiles has learnt from prolific tipster Ishan Agarwal. However, it will likely be rebranded in India and sold under the Mi brand in the country, he says. RedmiBook 13 will be the first laptop in the Indian market from Redmi (or its parent company Xiaomi for that matter). The marketing material that Agarwal has shared with us shows the laptop will feature a bezel-less display as well as Intel Core i7 processor; there may be other processor options as well. Going by the design and specifications, it looks like Xiaomi is planning to launch the December 2019 version of RedmiBook 13 in the Indian market, not the Ryzen version from earlier this week. The company is promoting the upcoming laptop on social media but hasn’t yet announced the model name or launch date yet.
The teaser images shared with 91mobiles by Agarwal suggest the upcoming RedmiBook 13 will have a sleek design, 13-inch display, Intel Core i7 processor, ample storage with fast read-write speed, and long battery life. The company is already teasing the 1C charging tech on social media, alongside alluding that the laptop will be a great option for productivity, entertainment, and gaming. However, little else – including the specifications – about the laptop has been revealed officially yet. On the other hand, the company has confirmed that its first laptop in the Indian market will not be as affordable as its smartphones.
