
The teaser images shared with 91mobiles by Agarwal suggest the upcoming RedmiBook 13 will have a sleek design, 13-inch display, Intel Core i7 processor, ample storage with fast read-write speed, and long battery life. The company is already teasing the 1C charging tech on social media, alongside alluding that the laptop will be a great option for productivity, entertainment, and gaming. However, little else – including the specifications – about the laptop has been revealed officially yet. On the other hand, the company has confirmed that its first laptop in the Indian market will not be as affordable as its smartphones.

RedmiBook 13 price and specifications
The RedmiBook 13 model that was launched in China in December 2019, with prices starting at RMB 4,199 (about Rs 44,500) for the Intel Core i5 processor; the lone Core i7 version is priced at RMB 5,199 (roughly Rs 55,000). As for the specifications, the RedmiBook 13 comes with a 13-3-inch full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) display and thin bezels on the sides for 89 percent screen-to-body ratio. The laptop comes with 10th Gen Intel Core i5 and i7 laptop options and get 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD storage as standard. There’s also a 2GB Nvidia GeForce MX250 graphics card.
On the battery front, the RedmiBook 13 laptop gets a 40Whr cell with 65W power adaptor and 1C charging support for 50 percent charging in less than 35 minutes. This battery is claimed to deliver 11-hour video playback, 8-hour video streaming, and 8.5-hour of web browsing. For connectivity, it gets 2x USB 3.1 port, 1x HDMI, 3.5mm audio jack, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.0. There are two 2W speakers with DTS Audio Processing, pre-installed Windows 10 Home Edition, and brushed metal body in Moonlight Silver colour.
