Google is hosting its I/O developer conference on May 10th, and this time hardware is expected to steal the show. The tech giant will debut its first foldable phone, the Pixel Fold, at I/O, and it’s also expected to finally make the Pixel Tablet official. Google Pixel 7a launch date
Google has already announced that the Pixel 7a will launch in India on May 11th. The smartphone will be available exclusively via Flipkart. Since the Google I/O is starting on May 10th we’ll most likely see an earlier reveal at the event.
Google Pixel 7a price
The Google Pixel 7a will reportedly be priced at SGD 749 which translates to roughly Rs 46,000. This pricing is for the 128GB variant of the Pixel 7a. Google is expected to launch the Pixel 7a in more RAM and storage models.

- In terms of specifications, there’s quite a lot that’s already leaked about the Pixel 7a.
- The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
- Powering the Google Pixel 7a will most likely be the in-house Tensor G2 processor which is also found in the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.
- For cameras, Google is expected to add a 64MP wide camera and a 13 ultra-wide angle lens at the rear. It could house a 13MP front camera for selfies.
- Rumours suggest a 4,400mAh battery on the Pixel 7a, and this is said to be a 24-hour battery. The smartphone will also come with support for fast wired charging, and Qi wireless charging.
Google Pixel 7a design, colours
Google is expected to launch the Pixel 7a in as many as four colours. These colours are going to be called Charcoal, Blue, Snow and Coral. In terms of design we won’t see much change as leaked renders have all revealed the same Pixel 7-like design with the punch-hole camera at the centre, and the pill-shaped camera module at the rear.
