Install iPhone emojis using keyboard apps

You can install certain keyboard apps from the Google Play Store on your Android phone to get iOS emojis. We will be talking about two of the popular and seemingly reliable ones: Green Apple Keyboard and iOS Emoji for Android.

Green Apple Keyboard

• Look up Green Apple Keyboard on Google Play Store and download it.
• Once installed, open it and follow the on-screen instructions.
  
  

• Firstly, enable Green Apple Keyboard within the "Manage on-screen keyboards" option.

• Then Switch Input to Green Apple Keyboard. It's ready.
• You can now customize and change the look and functioning of the keyboard.

Now every time you try to type on your Android phone, Green Apple Keyboard will appear and tapping on the emoji button shows you iOS emojis.

iOS Emojis for Android

• This is an early-access app (possibly with some bugs) but you can install and use it. In our experience, it was working fine.
• Again, you have to install iOS Emojis for Android from the Google Play Store and once it's installed, follow the on-screen instructions to enable this keyboard. You have to select it as the preferred input method too. 
• However, since these keyboards may not be as feature-rich or user-friendly as their popular counterparts or even the default keyboard on your device, you may want to try something else.

Select smartphone brands allow you to change the default font. If yours is one such device, you can try using ZFont 3 or Emoji Fonts for FlipFont 10. Since emojis are basically fonts, these apps replace the font style used by the system emojis with one that looks like iOS emojis.

Is rooting my Android device necessary to get iPhone emojis?
