Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro and wireless charger bag multiple certifications

The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro could bring several improvements over the Watch GT 2 and GT 2e.

Highlights
  • The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro will pack a 455mAh battery
  • The accompanying wireless charger will likely offer 10W charging output
  • The charger has a circular design and a USB Type-C port for power

Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro seems to be in the active development and will succeed Watch GT 2 and Watch GT 2e. The launch could be around the corner as the smartwatch has received multiple certifications, including NCC, Indonesia Telecom and SIRIM Malaysia Certification with the model number VID-B19. The Chinese brand seems to be readying a wireless charger with model number CP80-1 for the smartwatch and the device has also bagged NCC, FCC, SIRIM Malaysia and Korean NRRA certifications. Since the Watch GT 2 Pro SIRIM Malaysia listing mentions ‘Hybrid Wearable’, it could have a typical watch design with a circular dial. The smartwatch will connect via Bluetooth and have fitness tracking features.

The Huawei Watch GT2 Pro will pack a 455mAh battery and the accompanying wireless charger seems to offer 10W output. It has a circular design and a USB Type-C port for power. Unfortunately, not much else is revealed from the certifications that tell us about the internal hardware of the wireless charger or the smartwatch. We can speculate the smartwatch will improve over the current Watch GT 2 and GT 2e and may also debut in India down the lane. We should learn more information about both products soon.
