Jio Phone 5G price in India and specifications have been tipped ahead of the phone's official launch that is expected later this year.
As per the report, the Jio Phone 5G price in India will be somewhere between Rs 9,000 to Rs 12,000 (around $120 to $160). The publication emphasises on the assumption that the device will likely be priced under Rs 10,000, given Jio's aggressiveness in this regard in the past.
Coming to the Jio Phone 5G specifications, the device is tipped to sport a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with a 1,600 x 720 pixel resolution. We can expect the device to feature a standard 60Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the Jio Phone 5G is tipped to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G processor, which will be paired with an Adreno 619 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of expandable storage. In the software department, the Jio Phone 5G is said to boot Android 11 OS out of the box with Google Play Services and Jio Digital Suite of apps.
The phone, just like the Jio Phone Next, will likely run a customized version of Android 11, which will feature custom tweaks like an always-on Google Assistant, read-aloud text, instant translate via Google Lens and Google Translate, and support for various Indic languages. The device will reportedly support N3, N5, N28, N40, and N78 6G bands.

Coming to the battery of the device, the Jio Phone 5G is said to sport a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port. Lastly, the Jio Phone 5G will feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
