Jio has hiked the prices of its prepaid recharge plans after Airtel and Vi. Check the new tariffs and how they compare with Airtel and Vi plans.

Post Airtel and Vi's prepaid plan price hike, Jio joins the suite with a new price list for its unlimited prepaid plans. The new plans are scheduled to be enforced from December 1st onwards. This update includes price refreshes for the Jio Phone plan as well as data-add-ons.
A quick look at the new price list shows that the 3GB data per month with unlimited voice calls and 50 SMS plan which was previously listed for Rs 75 has now seen a hike of Rs 16 and will now be available for Rs 91. Going by validity, the base plan for a 28 day validity period that offers 2GB data per month with unlimited voice calls and 300 SMS has now seen a Rs 26 price hike and will henceforth be available for Rs 155. Similarly, the popular Rs 399 base plan for 56 days worth of validity which brings 1.5GB data per day, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day will now be available for a price of Rs 479.
Plans with longer validity have also seen a price jump. Rs 599 plan, which also is a popular pick, gets up to Rs 719 from December 1st and brings along 2GB of data per day, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day for 84 days. The top-of-the-line plan that's valid for 365 days (a whole year), fetches 2GB of data per day, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day, has now gone up in price by Rs 480 and will henceforth be priced at Rs 2879.
Jio surprisingly still undercuts Airtel and Vi prepaid plans and goes on to become the more value for money pick. Looking at the base pack with a validity of 28 days which comes with 2GB of data, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day, a Jio user can avail this for Rs 155 as compared to Airtel and Vi's Rs 179 charge. Similarly, another popular plan that gets you 2GB of data per day, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day for 28 days can be had for Rs 299 as compared to Airtel and Vi's Rs 349.
