Alongside Mi 10 Ultra and Redmi K30 Ultra, Xiaomi also launched Mi TV LUX Transparent Edition at its 10th-anniversary event in China yesterday. It's the world's first commercial smart TV with a see-through display. The Mi TV LUX Transparent Edition, as the name suggests, packs a transparent screen that gives an appearance of a window when turned off, and when switched on makes images look as if they are floating. This is possible with the new transparent OLED technology aka TOLED that sports transparent components all the way through the stack that makes up the screen, with no need for backlighting and cathode layer that we see on traditional OLED TVs.
