The rumoured Motorola One Vision smartphone has received certification from Thailand's NBTC. This comes just days after the smartphone was spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification website. Before that, the Motorola One Vision had made an appearance on the Google ARCore site and paid a visit to the FCC. For those unaware, the upcoming Motorola One Vision is said to be the company's first handset with a punch-hole display and a 48-megapixel primary camera sensor on the back. With the device appearing on so many certification websites in a short span, it is likely the official launch is not too far away.
Getting back to the Motorola One Vision NBTC listing, there is not much information to glean from. However, it does mention the handset with the model number XT1970-3 — this had previously appeared on the Bluetooth SIG listing, alongside four other model numbers. That listing had described the handset as "Motorola One Vision super row model with Android P software." However, there is no clarity regarding the number of SIM cards supported and the market it is headed to. The other four models, however, were detailed with the SIM card configuration and the launch markets.
The Motorola One Vision renders have shown the handset will come with a 6.2-inch HD+ punch-hole display to house the selfie camera; the selfie camera hole is shown to be located on the top-left corner. The smartphone is said to be powered by the Exynos 9610 SoC, backed by 6GB of RAM and Mali G72 GPU. It will reportedly come with up to 128GB internal storage, Android 9 Pie software, 3,500mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. Renders have shown it will sport dual cameras on the back, with rumours pointing towards a 48-megapixel primary sensor. It is said to be the global version of the upcoming Motorola P40 smartphone.
