The teaser video has been released via Hero Electric’s official Twitter handle. The video gets the caption ‘Presenting new era of 2W mobility’ which could mean that the upcoming electric scooter will get a 2W electric motor in the powertrain.
The electric scooter can be seen wearing a shade of blue, and is equipped with LED lighting, alloy wheels, disc brakes, telescopic front suspension and a single-piece seat. Given the brand’s positioning, the upcoming Hero Electric electric scooter is likely to compete with the likes of the Ola S1 Air, and electric scooters from brands like Ampere, Okinawa, Okaya, etc.
The Hero Electric Optima electric scooter is one of the most popular EVs in the brand’s portfolio. Hero Electric has reportedly sold 6,394 units in January 2023 with a total cumulative sales of 80,954 units in this fiscal year.
