Nokia 7.1 with 5.84-inch PureDisplay and dual Carl ZEISS shooters goes official

"The Nokia 7.1's PureDisplay technology offers support for HDR content"

As expected, HMD Global, the brand that holds the license to make and sell Nokia smartphones, has unveiled its latest handset. Called the Nokia 7.1, it has arrived as the first Nokia smartphone to utilise its PureDisplay technology. The device is a mid-range offering with the taller 19:9 aspect ratio, a notch-toting screen, dual primary cameras with Carl ZEISS optics, and two years of guaranteed updates to the latest version of Android.

The PureDisplay technology of the Nokia 7.1 allows you to enjoy HDR content on the phone from streaming providers like YouTube, Netflix, and Amazon Prime thanks to the support for HDR10 standard. That's not all, you'll be able to enjoy higher contrast (1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio) even with standard content, as the smartphone is able to convert normal videos to HDR ones real-time. This means that the phone's display will be able to offer details in both light and dark areas as well as vibrant colours.
