A new teaser image shows that the OnePlus 9 Pro has received an A+ rating by DisplayMate. The smartphone will come with a 2K+ 120Hz LTPO display, which means the display consumes less power compared to LTPS panels that are used on some smartphones.
OnePlus 9 Pro is said to sport a 6.7-inch 2K+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 5G SoC coupled with at least 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB storage that may not be expandable. The phone is likely to run on Android 11 with OxygenOS custom skin on top. The phone will pack a 4,500mAh battery with 65W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Connectivity features could include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. The handset will be available in Astral Black, Morning Mist, and Pine Green colour options.
In terms of optics, the OnePlus 9 Pro is said to have quad-cameras at the back, with a 48MP Sony IMX789 Hasselblad primary sensor, a 50MP IMX766 FFL fixed focus camera, an 8MP OmniVision telephoto lens with 3.3x optical zoom, and a 2MP depth sensor. There is a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. It will have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and a Fluid AMOLED panel.
