OnePlus Open price in India and release date were officially announced in India on Thursday. The same device was launched as the OPPO Find N3 earlier today in China. The OnePlus Open is the first-ever foldable phone from OnePlus and it comes in a compact book-style folding design. It’s said to be light and slim, and with no visible crease so users can get a tablet-like experience. OnePlus Open also features up to five cameras in total and the Alert Slider.

OnePlus Open price in India, sale details

OnePlus Open is priced at Rs 1,39,999 for the single 16GB + 512GB variant in India. The foldable comes in two colour options: Voyager Black and Emerald Dusk.
The phone is available on Amazon, the OnePlus India website, Reliance Digital and leading retail stores.
Pre-order starts today with the open sale from October 27th.
ICICI Bank and OneCard card holders will get benefits worth Rs 5,000.

OnePlus Open design

OnePlus Open features a book-style folding design like the Galaxy Z Fold 5 but in a more compact form factor. The foldable is also touted to be a slim and light foldable weighing 239 grams. When unfolded, the OnePlus Open is 5.8mm thick, and 11.7mm when unfolded. The company said it used an improved ‘Flexion’ hinge with a single-spine architecture that reduced the number of components to just 69 parts.

OnePlus Open also used titanium alloy and carbon fibre for durability. It also assures that the crease on the Open is “virtually imperceptible,” thanks to the Flexion Hinge that lets the phone fold completely flat thereby reducing the presence of any crease. OnePlus says that this way users should get an “uninterrupted Pro tablet-like experience” with the OnePlus Open.

Regarding colour options, the OnePlus Open comes in Emerald Dusk and Voyager Black. The Voyager Black colour variant has a leather-like finish at the back.

It also has a 240Hz touch response rate, and Ultra Thin Glass for protection. When folded, there’s a 6.31-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and Ceramic Guard layered on top.
Processor: The foldable phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with Adreno 740 GPU.
RAM and storage: With the OnePlus Open you get 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. It also supports RAM expansion up to 4GB, 8GB, and 12GB.
Cameras: In the photography department, the OnePlus Open sports a 48MP Sony LYT-T808 primary camera, a 64MP OmniVision OV64B telephoto camera with 3X optical zoom, and a 48MP Sony IMX581 ultra-wide angle lens. For selfies, you get a 20MP primary front camera and a 32MP secondary front camera.
Battery, charging: The OnePlus Open packs a 4,805mAh battery with 67W SUPERVOOC Charging. You also get an 80W SUPERVOOC adapter in the box.
Software: On the software front, the foldable phone runs OxygenOS 13.2 based on Android 13.
Other features: With the OnePlus Open, you get 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C, and an alert slider. It is also equipped with Dolby Atmos.
