The OnePlus Open launch in India is just around the corner. Touted as the cheaper alternative to Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5, the handset is the first foldable from the brand. OnePlus has been teasing the key specs of the smartphone in the build-up to the launch. Simultaneously, there have been several leaks and rumours around the smartphone, including the OnePlus Open price in India.

OnePlus Open will launch in India on October 19th at 7:30 PM IST, as officially confirmed by the brand officially. Besides India, the phone will also expand to other global markets.
OnePlus Open price in India (tipped)
The OnePlus Open’s price in India is tipped to be between Rs 110,000 and Rs 120,000. If this is true, the foldable will be much cheaper than the Samsung Z Fold 5, which is currently available at Rs 154,999.

OnePlus Open is so far seen in Black and Green colours. We don’t whether there would be any other colour options at launch at the moment.
OnePlus Open design
- The OnePlus Open design is already confirmed to be similar to the OPPO Find N3.
- The handset boasts a book-opening style folding design, with a large inner screen and a narrow outer screen. On the edges, the handset will sport an alter slider, volume rocker, and a power button.
- There will be speaker vents and a SIM tray section, probably at the top edge of the foldable. The bottom side could also house speaker vents and a USB Type-C port for charging.
- The OnePlus Open will have a large circular module on the back to house cameras powered by Hasselblad. The handset is said to feature a selfie camera on the cover as well as the main display.

- Display: The OnePlus Open foldable is tipped to sport a 7.8-inch AMOLED 2K display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
- The outer screen is said to have a 6.3-inch size with an AMOLED panel and a 120Hz refresh rate.
- Processor: The foldable is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset paired with Adreno GPU.
- RAM and storage: The chipset will be paired with up to 16GB RAM and 256GB storage that will not be further expandable.
- OS: OxygenOS 13.1 with Android 13 OS out-of-the-box.
- Cameras: The phone will have triple camera sensors on the back, with a 48MP primary sensor, a 48MP secondary shooter, and a 64MP lens. The OnePlus Open could have 32MP and 20MP front cameras on the front.
- Battery: There might be a 4,800mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.
