OnePlus for a while has been known to be working on a tablet, which will be dubbed as OnePlus Pad. However, no other details are known about the tablet at the moment but we speculate it will have a top of line hardware. The UI will fit the large aspect ratio, instead of being stretched out like how the Android OS currently is.

Unfortunately, the launch timeline of the tablet hasn’t been revealed by Yogesh at the moment but 91mobiles back in December had exclusively shared the OnePlus Pad will arrive in India by the first half of 2022, which means we can expect an announcement in the next few weeks. It’s also revealed the company will have at least one model for India. This comes after the brand had trademarked the OnePlus Pad moniker in July 2021. All these new developments suggest we might be close to the tablet’s launch.

Separately, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite is expected to launch soon and 91mobiles had shared key specifications of the phone. It is said to come with a 3.5mm audio jack but no alert slider that will also be missing on the Nord CE 2 5G. It is expected to arrive with a 6.59-inch FHD+ display, which could be an LCD panel. The handset is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. A 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support will fuel the phone.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite will have a 64MP OmniVision primary camera paired with a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP mono lens. It will have a 16MP Sony IMX471 selfie sensor on the front.
