OnePlus tablet India launch (Expected)

As mentioned, the OnePlus tablet is under testing and could come as OnePlus Pad or OnePlus Tab. The company is most likely planning to introduce the tablet alongside the OnePlus 11R. Although the specific launch date is unknown, the OnePlus 11R is expected to be launched in or around June 2023, as per the report.

OnePlus tablet specifications (Expected)

The OnePlus tablet will likely be launched as a budget Android tablet in India. The report notes that the upcoming tablet will be inspired by one of the OPPO tablets available in the market. However, it will be launched after some changes in the specifications as well as design.

Last year, OnePlus’ parent company OPPO launched OPPO Pad Air in India, priced under Rs 20,000. The tablet comes with a 10.36-inch IPS LCD display with a 2K resolution and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset and two storage variants. It houses a 7,100mAh battery with 18W charging support. However, it is still unsure whether these features will be in the upcoming oneplus tablet.

Several brands, including Apple, Samsung, OPPO, Realme, and Redmi, launched their tablets in the country last year. According to a report by CyberMedia Research, the Indian tablet PC market expanded by 22 per cent quarter over quarter (QoQ) between the months of July and September 2022.
