OPPO debuted the Reno series back in April with the launch of Reno 10x Zoom Edition and standard Reno. Now, the brand has launched a new variant to the series in Europe, called the Reno Z. Unlike the other models, the Reno Z features a waterdrop notch to house the front-facing camera, is powered by the 10nm Snapdragon 710 SoC and runs Android 9.0 Pie. The handset packs gradient back with a familiar tag-line design with OPPO branding and curved edges.

The OPPO Reno Z is priced at €190 (around Rs 15,000 and $214) and comes in Ocean Green and Jet Black colours. The phone is scheduled to go on sale in Europe. However, details regarding its global availability aren’t revealed yet.

The OPPO Reno Z features a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with waterdrop style notch, 1,080 X 2,340 pixels resolutions and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor with Adreno 616 GPU. It packs 6GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage that is further expandable via microSD card. The phone boots ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
In terms of the camera department, the OPPO Reno Z features vertically arranged dual camera setup at the rear, consisting a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor and a 5MP secondary depth unit for portrait shots. On the front, the phone houses a 32MP snapper for selfies and video chats. The phone comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric security and is fueled by a 3,950 mAh battery with 20W VOOC 3.0 flash charge support. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port. The phone measures 157.3×74.9×9.1mm and weighs 186 grams.
