POCO M3 launch date in India has been revealed by the company via a teaser video on Twitter as well as a media invite sent to the media. The handset is set to arrive in the country on February 2nd at 12:00 PM IST through an online event. After the POCO X3 launch in September 2020, the company is back again and the POCO M3 launch will take place a couple of days ahead of the Realme X7 series launch that is scheduled for February 4th in India. The POCO phone originally debuted globally back in November as a successor to the POCO M2 and comes with a 6.53-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 662 SoC, and 48MP triple cameras. POCO M3 specifications

POCO M3 flaunts a 6.53-inch FHD+ display with a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC and packs 4GB RAM and up to 128GB storage that is further expandable via a microSD card slot. It runs on Android 10-based MIUI 12 custom skin on top. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, dual speakers, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

As for the cameras, the POCO M3 has triple cameras at the back comprising of a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots, and a 2MP macro lens for close up shots. On the front, it has an 8MP snapper for selfies and video chats. The phone packs a 6,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast-charging.

POCO M3 price in India (expected)

POCO M3 price is set at $149 (approx Rs 11,000) for the 4GB + 64GB base variant and $169 (approx Rs 12,500) for the 4GB + 128GB variant. We can expect the POCO M3 price in India to be around the Rs 10,000 mark.
