POCO M4 Pro 5G is getting a 4G sibling.
POCO's M4 Pro has already been spotted on multiple certification portals giving us an idea of what to expect from the upcoming smartphone. The POCO M4 Pro appeared on the Geekbench bearing the model number "2201117SI". The listing confirmed that the M4 Pro would come with the MediaTek Helio G96 chipset under the hood. The smartphone registered a single-core score of 526 and a multi-core score of 1832 in the Geekbench benchmark.
As far as other specifications are concerned, we expect them to be the same as the Redmi Note 11S. So, the POCO M4 Pro could feature a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. We expect the smartphone to come with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. Further, it may boast a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W charging. The M4 Pro is said to run Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 out of the box.
Coming to the optics, we expect a huge camera module with a POCO logo housing a triple camera setup. The POCO M4 Pro is rumoured to have a 64MP primary sensor paired with an 8MP ultrawide shooter and a 2MP macro snapper. On the front, it may come with a 16MP camera for selfies.
There is no word on the pricing so far, but we expect it to be priced competitively. It's expected to be more affordable than the 5G variant of the POCO M4 Pro. The base 4GB+64GB storage variant of M4 Pro 5G currently retails for Rs 14,999.
