POCO X6 Neo India launch appears imminent, could be a rebrand of Redmi Note 13R Pro

POCO X6 series is expected to launch in India and globally very soon. There are rumours that the lineup will include a standard and a Pro version. These are believed to be rebrands of the Redmi Note 13/Note 13 Pro. However, tipster Kacper Skrzypek now claims there will be a third model, the POCO X6 Neo and this will be launching in India very soon. Apparently, the Redmi Note 13R Pro, which launched in China earlier today will be rebadged as POCO X6 Neo.

POCO X6 Neo could be launching soon

The tipster shared a screenshot on X and this reveals the moniker of the upcoming POCO device.
The POCO X6 Neo will be the brand’s first model with the Neo moniker.
The image also reveals that the POCO X6 Neo will have the model number 2312FRAFDI (I represent the Indian variant).

To recall, the Redmi Note 13R Pro Telecom listing confirmed the model number 2311FRAFDC and this confirms the POCO X6 Neo is indeed a rebrand of the Redmi Note 13R Pro.
The forthcoming POCO device has the codename gold_a, which is the same as the Redmi Note 13 5G.
This also indicates that the POCO X6 Neo, Redmi Note 13R Pro, and Redmi Note 13 5G will be similar to each other with regard to specifications.
Unlike the China version which has a 108MP camera, the Indian model could get a 64MP shooter.

Cameras: The Redmi 13R Pro features a 108MP primary camera with support for 3x in-sensor zoom and a 2MP secondary lens. There will be a 16MP shooter on the front for selfies.
Battery: The Note 13R Pro will have a 5,000mAh battery and 33W fast charging.
Dimensions: The Redmi model measures 161.11 x 74.95 x 7.73mm and weighs 174 grams.
Others: A side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.

Redmi Note 13R Pro price

The Redmi Note 13R Pro is priced at RMB 1,999 (approx Rs 23,400) and comes in Midnight Black, Time Blue, and Morning Light Gold colours. We can expect the POCO X6 Neo to be priced around the same range in India as well.
