The Realme 12 Pro series is launching in India on January 29th. Realme has been teasing its upcoming phones while the two have been showing up on leaks and reports as well. The Realme 12 Pro has now been spotted on the benchmarking website, Geekbench, with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. Here’s what else the listing reveals about the new Realme phone.
Realme 12 Pro spotted on Geekbench
- Realme 12 Pro with the model number RMX3842 has been spotted on Geekbench by MSP. This model has been associated with the Realme 12 Pro in the past.
- It’s running an octa-core chipset with a maximum clock speed of 2.21 GHz. This is said to be the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset that’s manufactured on a 4nm process, and packs four Cortex A78 cores at 2.2GHz, four Cortex A55 cores at 1.8GHz, and an Adreno 710 GPU.
- Realme 12 Pro is also spotted with 8GB of RAM and Android 14 in Geekbench listing.
- The chipset details of the Realme 12 Pro series hasn’t been officially confirmed yet but it’s speculated that the phones will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. Well, at least one of the phones will run on this chipset.
- On Geekbench, the Realme 12 Pro has scored 898 points in the single-core test and 2,759 points in the multi-core test.
Realme has so far confirmed the phone’s back design showing off a leather finish with a circular camera module inspired by a watch. It will come in a ‘Submarine Blue’ colour. Realme 12 Pro is also confirmed to feature a SonyIMX 890 OIS camera, and the largest OV64B periscope telephoto sensor with a 1/2-inch image sensor. It will offer 3X optical zoom, and 120X super zoom.

- Realme 12 Pro cameras: Realme 12 Pro has been listed with a 50MP primary camera, a 32MP secondary lens, and an 8MP sensor. For selfies, it will house a 16MP front camera.
- Realme 12 Pro+ cameras: As for the Realme 12 Pro+, it will be a 64MP primary camera, a 50MP secondary lens, an 8MP camera, and a 32MP front camera.
- Battery: Both phones are expected to come with the same 4,880mAh battery.
