Redmi 13 specifications and other details (expected)

  • The IMEI record reveals the Redmi phone with 24049RN28L model number is Redmi 13.

  • The FCC listing discloses specs like HyperOS 1.0 based on Android 14 software, a 4,930mAh rated battery size (the actual size could be more), 33W fast charging capability, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth 5.3 support.

Redmi 13 isn’t the first phone from the series as we got the Redmi 13C 4G and Redmi 13C 5G towards the fag end of last year. Here’s a quick refresher on those phones. 

Redmi 13C specifications

  • Display: Both Redmi 13C models sport a 6.74-inch screen with an HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 600 nits peak brightness and Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
  • Processor: Redmi 13C 4G features a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC and Redmi 13C 5G (review) packs a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC.
  • Memory: The performance is backed by up to 8GB LPDDR4 RAM, 256GB UFS 2.2 storage and an expandable storage facility.
  • Cameras: The rear camera setup on the 4G model consists of a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP macro module, and a 0.08MP tertiary sensor. The 5G model comes with two 50MP cameras. The selfies come from an 8MP sensor on the Redmi 13C 4G and a 5MP sensor on the 5G model.
  • Software: It ships with MIUI 14 based on Android 13.
  • Battery: There is a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
  • Connectivity: The phone features dual SIMs, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
