• The handset is now available at Rs 10,999 and Rs 12,999, respectively on Flipkart.
• There is a Rs 1,500 instant discount on top of the discounted price. This brings down the cost to Rs 9,499 and Rs 11,499.

• The Redmi 12 4G is priced at Rs 9,999 for the 4GB/ 128GB model and Rs 11,499 for the 6GB/128GB version.
• The handset will be available on Flipkart at Rs 9,499 and Rs 10,499 for both variants, respectively.
• There is a Rs 1,000 instant discount with select bank cards on top of the discounted price.

Should you buy the Redmi Note 12 or Redmi 12 4G?

Redmi Note 12 and Redmi 12 4G are decent offerings for the newly discounted price. They are great picks if you are on the market looking for budget phones.

The former brings an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Redmi 12 has an FHD+ panel compared to HD+ screens in the budget. We rarely get an AMOLED panel on phones which are priced under Rs 12,000. This is what makes the Redmi Note 12 4G a premium option to consider in this segment.

The Snapdragon 685 on the Note 12 4G and Helio G88 are quite capable of performing your day-to-day tasks like checking emails, browsing the web, taking calls, social media activities and more. 

The Redmi Note 12 and Redmi 12 4G phones feature a 50MP primary camera and the results are pretty much as you would expect from budget phones. The daylight shots are decent while the low-light shots are moderate.

On the whole, the Redmi Note 12 and Redmi 12 4G are good options to consider if you are looking for budget phones. The new price tag makes them an easy recommendation.
