Redmi Note 12 Turbo is set to debut in China on March 28th at 7 PM local time. The handset comes as a new addition to the brand’s Note 12 lineup and will be the first to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen2 SoC that was announced recently. Now, ahead of the announcement, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo has appeared on Geekbench with the model number 23049RAD8C, as spotted by 91mobiles. The C at the end of the model number denotes the China model.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo Geekbench

The Redmi Note 12 Turbo Geekbench 6.0 listing showed the phone has managed to score 1484 points in the single-core round and 4257 in the multi-core segment. These scores are quite good considering we are talking about a mid-range offering. The benchmark platform spills some beans about the specifications as well. Firstly, the phone runs on the latest Android 13 OS, which could be skinned with MIUI 14 custom skin out of the box.

The motherboard section mentions ‘marble’ which could be associated with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen2 octa-core SoC with a peak clock speed of 2.92GHz. The chipset will be paired with 12GB RAM but there could be other options at launch.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo specifications (expected)

Redmi Note 12 Turbo is speculated to arrive with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, and narrow bezels. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen2 SoC paired with Adreno GPU. The handset is expected to run on Android 13-based MIUI 14 custom skin out of the box and pack a 5,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.

Moving to optics, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo Edition is said to come with a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary shooter, and a 2MP third lens. Connectivity features could include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging. Details regarding the front camera are unknown at the moment.
