After the global launch of the Redmi Pad SE, the brand is all set to make it official for Indian consumers this month. It is worth noting that the tablet will be launched at the Xiaomi Smarter Living 2024 event along with a slew of other products.
The Redmi tablet features an 11-inch display, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset, up to 43 days of battery life, and much more. Here are the features and other key details of the Redmi Pad SE.
Redmi Pad SE India launch date
Xiaomi has confirmed it is introducing the Redmi Pad SE in India on April 23rd. However, details regarding its price range, colour options, and availability are still under wraps. But the tablet was launched globally in Lavender Purple, Mint Green, and Graphite Gray colours in August 2023.

Through a microsite, it has been confirmed that the Redmi Pad SE will feature an 11-inch 90Hz display with TUV Rheinland low blue light certification and quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support. Meanwhile, the global variant includes 400 units of peak brightness, a touch sampling rate of 180Hz, and more.
The tablet will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset. While Xiaomi did not reveal the storage details, it is expected to feature at least 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage or more. There is no information about the operating system yet.
Additionally, it has been revealed that the Redmi Pad SE will house up to 43 days of battery life. However, the global variant features an 8,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging technology.
Xiaomi hasn’t revealed the price range of the upcoming tablet; however, it is expected to be affordable. It is worth mentioning that the Redmi Pad SE was announced at a starting price of EUR 199 (around Rs 17,644) for the 4GB+128GB model and went up to EUR 249 (approx Rs 22,000) for the 8GB+128GB variant.
Furthermore, the Xiaomi Smarter Living 2024 event will also bring a new pair of TWS earbuds, a hair dryer, and a robot vacuum cleaner. More details about these products are expected to be revealed in the coming days.
