We have been hearing a lot about the launch of Reliance’s first-ever laptop, dubbed the Reliance JioBook. The Reliance JioBook specifications and alleged first look were leaked way back in March 2021 and we have been waiting for its launch ever since. The laptop was expected to hit the commercial shelves alongside the company’s Jio Phone Next, but that certainly did not happen. Nevertheless, the Reliance JioBook has been spotted today on the Geekbench database, which reveals some key specs of the device and also hints that the launch of the laptop is not too far away now. Reliance JioBook Geekbench listing: here’s what it has in store

As seen in the Geekbench listing image (spotted by MySmartPrice) above, the Reliance JioBook has managed to pull off 1,178 in the single-core test and 4,246 in the multi-core test. Furthermore, the Geekbench listing suggests that the device will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT8788 chipset, which will be paired with 2GB of RAM. On the software side of things, the Reliance JioBook will boot Android 11 out of the box and earlier rumours have suggested that the device will run Jio’s in-house JioOS layered on top of Android 11.

Reliance JioBook specifications

As per previous leaks, the Reliance JioBook (one of the various variants which are pegged to launch) will feature a 1,366 x 768 pixels display. The laptop will make room for an HDMI connector. There will be support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 4G LTE connectivity. The laptop will come loaded with Jio apps like JioStore, JioMeet, and JioPages. Plus, we can expect the device to pack in Microsoft apps like Teams, Edge, and Office as well.
