Samsung seems to be gearing up to launch the Galaxy A10s smartphone as it is making sure that the handset has all the necessary certificates. The handset has already been certified by FCC and Wi-Fi Alliance and, now, by Thailand's certification authority NBTC. The phone is listed on the latter's website with model number SM-A107F/ DS, where the 'DS' stands for dual-SIM. The SM-A107F model number has been associated with the Galaxy A10s smartphone. The same model number has also been spotted on other certification websites and the NBTC listing clearly reveals the Galaxy A10s moniker within the brackets in the listing.
Unfortunately, the latest certification doesn't help either to reveal any specific detail or specifications about the upcoming Galaxy A10s smartphone. However, going by the previous leak and rumours, the handset is said to come pre-loaded with Android 9 Pie, which will most likely be customised by Samsung's latest One UI out of the box. The phone is also tipped to have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, which the regular Galaxy A10 lacks.
The entire setup of the Galaxy A10s is expected to be driven by a respectable 3,900mAh. While Samsung is expected to ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack on the upcoming flagships, it isn't going anywhere on this affordable smartphone. There will be a dual camera setup on the back panel and on the front we can expect an edge-to-edge Infinity-V or Infinity-U display. The camera sensor details along with RAM and storage option are not known at the moment.
Notably, Samsung is yet to announce if and when it's planning to launch the Galaxy A10s smartphone. Since the handset is busy acquiring certifications - which is like a penultimate step for any smartphone before it's released in the market - we believe that it could be announced soon.
