Should you buy the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G?

The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G at the new discounted price is quite a good buy, thanks to the brand value but should you buy it over the competition? Read along.

The handset features a 6.6-inch large display but the resolution is HD+. In comparison, we have phones like the POCO M6 Pro and Realme C67 5G which have an FHD+ resolution. The phone packs a large 5,000mAh battery and we get 15W fast charging support. Again, the competition offers faster up to 33W fast charging support.

The 50MP primary camera on the phone can click good images, especially in bright light conditions. However, in low-light conditions, the images are noisy but this is expected considering the price tag. The same is the case with other budget offerings so you aren’t missing out much.

For Rs 13,499, the base variant just has 4GB RAM when the competition (say the POCO M6 Pro) offers 6GB/8GB RAM options in the same range. The Exynos 1330 can handle day-to-day tasks with no lags or strutters in the UI.

So, unless you want a phone from Samsung, the Galaxy A14 5G is a decent buy but there are better alternatives like the Realme C67 5G and POCO M6 Pro on the market.
