“Samsung Galaxy A60 listing suggests that the phone comes with 6.3-inch full HD+ punch hole display, an octa-core processor, 32MP front camera, and runs Android 9.0 Pie.”
Just hours after the official launch of the Galaxy A70, the specifications for Samsung’s Galaxy A60 have been revealed through a TENAA listing, which appeared on China’s certification portal yesterday. As per the listing, the Samsung Galaxy A60 will sport 6.3-inch full HD+ display with a 19:5:9 aspect ratio, and runs Android 9.0 Pie-based One UI platform. The listing suggests that the handset features a triple rear camera setup and comes with a 32MP front-facing shooter.
The TENAA listing mentions that the handset is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core processor but doesn’t reveal specific chipset details. It could potentially be an unannounced Exynos chipset. The phone comes seemingly comes in two variants; one with 6GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage and another with 8GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage. There is a rear-facing triple camera setup, consisting of a 16MP primary sensor, an 8MP telephoto lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. The handset features a 6.3-inch display and there is a 32MP ISOCELL GD1 front-facing sensor for taking the selfies up top.
As per the listing, the device packs a 3,410mAh battery and will come in Black, Blue, Orange, and Coral colours. As mentioned earlier, it runs on Android 9.0 with One UI custom skin on top. Unlike the Galaxy A50, which features an in-display fingerprint scanner, the fingerprint sensor on the A60 is present on the rear side. Samsung scheduled ‘A Galaxy Event’ on April 10th, so there’s a good chance the device might go official at the event. The Samsung Galaxy A70 which went official earlier today comes with 3D Glasstic material, an in-display fingerprint sensor, be powered by the Snapdragon 670 SoC, 6GB or 8GB RAM with internal storage of 128GB. It has a triple rear camera setup on the phone’s back and it houses a big 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast-charging.
