Samsung is expected to launch the non-5G variants of the Galaxy Note 20 series in India
The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra LTE-only models have also been certified by Thailand's NBTC certification site. The certification site does not reveal much in terms of specifications. These LTE-only variants of the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra are expected to make their way to India. To recall, Samsung launched the LTE-only versions of the Galaxy S20 series in India earlier this year. The Galaxy S20 series India variants were launched with the Exynos 990 chipset and rumours suggest that the Galaxy Note 20 series will also use the same Exynos chipset for some markets, including India.
While nothing is confirmed at the moment, there may be some difference in price between the Galaxy Note 20 5G models and the LTE-only models, the latter expected to be more affordable. However, you should still expect the Galaxy Note 20 LTE variants to come with a premium price tag in India. To recall, the Galaxy S20 series were launched in India with prices starting at Rs 66,900.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra will be launched globally on August 5th at the company's Unpacked event. The phones have leaked several times already, revealing that they will come with a typical Note design that includes a rectangular form factor and the S Pen. The flagships are also expected to come with even slimmer bezels than before and in a new Copper colour finish.
In addition to the Galaxy Note 20 series, Samsung is also expected to launch the Galaxy Watch 3 smartwatch. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is also expected to be announced at the event, although the foldable phone may only ship sometime in October.
