Samsung Galaxy Note10 Pro tipped to support 25W fast charging instead of 45W

Samsung Galaxy Note10 Pro is one of the most anticipated flagships of the year. Though we are still months away for the launch, rumour mill seems to be in no mood to slow down as we have come across a good deal of details so far. Recently it was reported the Note10 could ship with 45W fast charging support and UFS 3.0 storage support. Now, XDA-Developers contributor Max Weinbach claims the Galaxy Note10 Pro won't come with 45W quick charge support; instead, it would get 25W, contradicting earlier rumours.

According to my source, the Note 10 Pro will only have 25w charging, not the 45w previously leaked. The A90 is getting the 45w charging previously written about.

Furthermore, citing insider sources, Max says that Samsung is indeed working on the 45W tech and it would be made available on the upcoming Galaxy A90 when it is released. This means that the Galaxy A-series will yet again be the first to get a new feature before the most-awaited Galaxy Note and S-series. Recently, a new Samsung handset with model number SM-A9050 was spotted on Geekbench. The listing suggests the phone could come with 6GB of RAM, run on Android 9.0 Pie with OneUI on top, and could be powered by the Snapdragon 675 SoC, which is a significant downgrade from Snapdragon 730 chipset found on its predecessor, the Galaxy A80. Unfortunately, nothing much is known about the Galaxy A90 at the moment.

Going back to Galaxy Note10 series, the lineup is reported to debut with two variants; the standard Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10 Pro along with their 5G options. The handsets are likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 855/ Exynos 9825 SoC depending on the region. Rumours suggest the Galaxy Note10 could start at $1,000-1,200 (about Rs 70,000-83,000). Since everything is based on rumours and leaks, we suggest you take this with a pinch of salt.
