Tech giant Google introduced Assistant with Bard during the Pixel 8 series launch event. Now, a report suggests that certain Samsung Galaxy S-series phones and Tensor-powered Pixel phones will be the initial recipients of this feature. Here are the details about the phones receiving the Assistant with Bard feature.

Assistant with Bard feature to come on Galaxy S24, Pixel phones

  • We’re aware that the Pixel 8 series is set to receive the Assistant with Bard feature. Besides that, Google is focusing on introducing Assistant with Bard to the upcoming Galaxy S24, as per a report by 9To5Google.
  • Furthermore, in the beta version 14.41 of the Google app, the publication has found indications pointing towards plans for integrating this feature with the Tensor-powered Pixel 6 and more recent devices, along with the Galaxy S23 series.

“Assistant with Bard is still an early experiment, so we’re rolling it out to early testers soon to get their feedback before bringing it to the public over the next few months,” Google said in a blogpost last week.

  • The rollout of the AI-driven digital voice assistant feature is expected to start with the Pixel 8, followed by the Galaxy S24 in the early part of the next year.
  • Following that, there are indications that older Tensor-based Pixels and the Samsung Galaxy S23 series will be the next to receive the feature before it becomes more widely available.

Recently, the company disclosed that their new Exynos 2400 chipset will provide 14.7 times faster AI processing that will result in swifter performance of Generative AI tasks, especially in the context of text-to-image tasks, on their upcoming flagship smartphones.
