A mysterious Samsung tablet with model number SM-P615 has been spotted on Geekbench. It is expected to be an affordable tablet that will have S-Pen stylus support as well. There's a possibility the tablet could be a variant of the SM-P610 that was reported to be in the works back in December. The Samsung tablet has managed to score 1,664 points in the single-core test and 5,422 in the multi-core test. The listing reveals the tablet will be powered by an Exynos 9611 SoC paired with 4GB RAM. The tablet will also ship with Android 10 out of the box. Unfortunately, the other hardware specifications of the tablet are kept under wraps for now.
Furthermore, the Samsung SM-P615 tablet could be the LTE variant, while the Wi-Fi-only model will have an SM-P610 model number. We don't have the exact identity of the tablet, but we are expected to come across more information going forward.
Separately, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 5G edition is gearing to be launched in South Korea sometime this quarter. It is the first tablet to come with 5G connectivity. Talking about the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 5G will flaunt a 10.5-inch S-AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is expected to come with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. A 7,040mAh battery is said to fuel the handset. In terms of optics, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 5G will have a 13MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor. On the front, there is an 8MP snapper. While the regular Galaxy Tab S6 was launched with a Snapdragon 855 SoC, the Galaxy Tab S6 5G may get the updated Snapdragon 865 chipset with a 5G modem.
