Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, and Galaxy Watch 5 are all expected to launch in India later this year. The two foldable smartphones have been leaked in the past as has the upcoming smartwatch. Last month, the battery models for all three devices were spotted globally. Now, 91mobiles has learned that the same battery models have appeared on the BIS listing in India. This all but confirms that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, and Galaxy Watch 5 are coming to India.
Tipster Sudhanshu shared the BIS listing with 91mobiles. The image reveals the battery model numbers for all three devices. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 batteries EB-BF936ABY and EB-BF937ABY, Galaxy Z Flip 4 batteries EB-BF721ABY, EB-BF722ABY, EB-BF723ABY, and Galaxy Watch 5 batteries EB-BR910ABY, EB-BR925ABY, EB-BR900ABY are all mentioned in the BIS listing.
The BIS listing does not tell us anything more apart from the battery model numbers. What it does tell us is that the upcoming foldable phones and smartwatch will eventually launch in India. This was expected considering the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galzy Z Flip 3, and Galaxy Watch 4 are available in the country.
From what we know so far, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 will feature a similar screen size and batteries as the Galaxy Z Fold 3. Yet, the upcoming foldable is said to be thinner and lighter than its predecessor. You can expect an updated flagship chipset inside the device as well as improved camera sensors, including a 108MP primary camera and a 12MP ultra-wide lens.
Not much has been leaked about the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 apart from a report that it is expected to feature a better hinge design and improved water and dust resistance. Likewise, all we know about the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 is that it will come in 40mm and 44mm sizes with slightly larger batteries compared to its predecessor. We hope to learn more about the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, and Galaxy Watch 5 in the coming months.
