Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 specs leaked online

  • Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 6 later this year in July at its next Unpacked event. There’s still some months to go for the purported launch but leaks have started to appear revealing key details about the new foldable.
  • According to a tip on X, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will not have an S Pen slot this time. The foldable will also be a little wider with sharp edges like the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
  • The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and pack a 4,600mAh battery.
  • It’s also tipped to feature three cameras with an improved under-display camera.
  • In terms of the handset material, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will have a titanium build making it thinner and lighter. When folded, it will measure 11mm, according to this leak. This would make the Fold 6 much thinner than the Fold 5, which measures 13.4mm when folded. The tipster adds that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be available in three colour options.

Information on the Galaxy Z Fold 6’s design seem to corroborate previous leaks on the foldable being wider this time, and square corners. So we might be looking at a redesigned Galaxy Z Fold 6 with some distinct changes.

In addition to a redesign, we might also see a major camera upgrade on the Galaxy Z Fold 6. It’s tipped to feature the 200MP camera, which is a 1/1.3-inch sensor with f/1.7-aperture, AF and OIS. This would be a big shift from the 50MP camera on the present Samsung foldables, and one area the brand needs to heavily improve on.
