Samsung starts selling refurbished Galaxy smartphones and tablets in the US

A few weeks ago, there were reports that Samsung may start offering refurbished units of its Galaxy series flagship smartphones. Now as expected, the company has started selling the refurbished devices in the US. The company is currently offering the Galaxy S6, S6 edge, Galaxy S5, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 4, and Galaxy Note 3 refurbished flagships in the US. In addition, refurbished Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 and Galaxy Note Pro tablets are also available.

The company has listed the aforementioned devices as “Samsung Certified Pre-Owned Phones and Refurbished Products” on its online store in the US. The company says that they are completely refurbished by its engineers, and come with new headphones and chargers, and are covered by one-year warranty as a new device. The brand is offering discounts up to $265 on the smartphones, and up to $290 on the tablets. There’s no word if the vendor will be bringing the refurbished devices to other markets as of now.
