Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse was released worldwide in cinemas in June as the second installment in the planned Spider-Verse trilogy. Two months after its theatrical release, Across the Spider-Verse is finally available to watch online. The movie is available only to rent though, and you can’t stream it for free as an OTT subscriber just yet. But if you couldn’t catch the movie in theatres or you want to rewatch it, you can do so on Amazon Prime Video or Zee5.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse digital streaming details
- Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is now available to rent online on Amazon Prime Video and Zee5.
- On Prime Video, you can rent the movie for Rs 399, and keep it for a month. But if you start watching the movie then you’ll have 48 hours until you can finish it.
- On Zee5, the rental fee is slightly cheaper costing you Rs 349. It has the same rules though, and these include the 30-day rental validity, and 48 to complete it once the playback starts.
- You will need an Amazon or Zee5 account to be able to rent the movie on either platform, but you don’t need a premium subscription.
- The movie can be watched on any device but only one at a time.
For now, you can only rent the movie to watch, and that comes with limitations but Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is expected to be available to stream for subscribers soon. At present, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is available to stream on Prime Video. This suggests that Across the Spider-Verse will also have its OTT release on Prime Video.
Apple TV allows you to buy Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse for Rs 490. It will also be available to rent on Apple TV from September 6th onwards.
