In PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of The Witcher 3, the new update improves Performance Mode and addresses performance issues in Novigrad and Beauclair after loading a saved game. It also fixes blurry characters in cutscenes on PS5 as well as issues related to memory usage in Ray Tracing Mode on Xbox Series X. Besides these, there is a major fix for the ‘Whatsoever a Man Soweth…' quest on the current gen consoles. The update also brings two missing swords on the last-gen consoles and addresses other issues. On PC, The Witcher 3 update improves CPU core utilization for the DX 12 version and restores horizon-based ambient occlusion. Along with these, it fixes issues with My Rewards section, flickering in Toussaint, and particle optimization.
Both PC and current gen console versions of The Witcher 3 get enhanced immersion of water by adding refraction to ray-traced reflections and SSR. They also get a dedicated motion blur slider and fixes for a visual issue with brick textures. Finally, The Witcher 3's new update brings some fixes for quests, gameplay, and localization issues on all platforms.
