TVS Motor Company is undertaking a huge endeavour and plans to deliver one thousand TVS iQube premium electric scooters across 10 Indian cities in 10 days. TVS is the third largest two-wheeler maker by revenue in India and plans to celebrate TVS iQube’s 1 lakh units’ milestone by undertaking this massive drive.

TVS iQube electric scooters delivery

  • TVS yesterday delivered 100 TVS iQube premium electric scooters to customers in Delhi and plans to expand this delivery drive even further.
  • The company has planned to undertake a 10-day delivery drive which will cover 10 Indian cities where it plans to deliver 1,000 TVS iQube electric scooters to customers.
  • TVS Motor Company will be commemorating TVS iQube’s 1 lakh units’ milestone since it was launched back in 2020. 
  • This massive undertaking will also celebrate the company’s successful transition of the TVS iQube line of electric scooters to AIS156 phase 2. This means that the TVS iQube range now complies with the Indian Government’s latest battery safety norms.

TVS iQube electric scooter specifications

  • Electric motor: A 4.4kW BLDC hub-mounted motor with 140Nm torque
  • Battery pack: A 3.04kWh Li-ion battery 
  • Range: The Vida V1 Plus gets 143km of range while the Vida V1 Pro gets 165km of range. 
  • Charging: Zero to 80 percent in four hours and thirty minutes via 650W.
  • Performance: 78kmph top speed and zero to 40kmph in under 4.2 seconds.
  • Suspension: Telescopic front suspension and hydraulic twin tube shock rear suspension.
  • Wheels and Tyres: 12-inch alloy wheels front and rear

  • Colour: Pearl White, Shining Red and Titanium Grey 
In other news, the Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) has called in investigations on TVS, Ola Electric, Ather Energy, and Hero MotoCorp for violating FAME subsidy guidelines, following which the companies are reimbursing customers.
