Vodafone Idea has added 30-day and 31-day recharge plans, priced at Rs 327 and Rs 337 respectively, to its portfolio. This is in response to a TRAI’s recent decision requiring telecom service providers to offer at least one 30-day plan and a monthly renewal plan that is renewed on the same date each month. While the telco hasn’t announced the monthly renewal plan for prepaid users in India, the Rs 327 and Rs 337 Vi recharge plans will compete against Airtel and Jio’s Rs 296 prepaid plan. After daily 100SMS exhaustion, the user will be charged the standard SMS rates for local and STD. Further, the pack also offers a free complimentary subscription to Vi Movies and TV app.

Additionally, the plan also offers a free complimentary subscription to Vi Movies and TV app.
Vi Rs 327 vs Airtel Rs 296 vs Rs Jio Rs 296 plan
Airtel and Jio are yet to announce a 31-day validity plan. That said, the 30 days validity plans from the telcos are available at Rs 296. The plans offer the same voice call, data (which is 25GB), and SMS benefits as the Vi Rs 327 prepaid plan. You also get a complimentary subscription to Jio apps with Jio Rs 296 plan, whereas the Rs 296 Airtel recharge plan offers a Wynk Music subscription, Amazon Prime Video Mobile edition trial pack access, Rs 100 cashback on FASTag, and more
