The plan primarily offers a different complimentary entertainment subscription. The new Rs 401 Vi postpaid plan comes with a Sun NEX premium subscription, while the existing Rs 401 tariff offers Sony Liv subscription. All other benefits remain the same. Here’s everything you need to know
New Vi Rs 401 postpaid plan benefits
In terms of the primary offerings, the Rs 401 Vodafone postpaid plan is a monthly plan, and users of the service will get access to 50GB of 4G data, 3,000 SMS messages per month, unlimited voice calls to all network operators within India, and for the time being, 50GB of additional data for the first month if the plan is purchased online. Users will also get access to unlimited 4G data during night hours, i.e. from 12PM to 6AM.
In terms of value-added services, the key focus is on a 12-month Sun NXT Premium subscription, which will offer movies, TV shows and music videos in multiple languages. The service can be accessed on two screens at the same time — one mobile phone and one TV — and users can access the complimentary subscription by using their Vodafone Idea postpaid number (to which this plan is subscribed) to sign in to the service.
Other services include ‘VIP’ access to the Vi movies and TV app, and access to a host of content through the Vi app that includes Hungama music streaming, Zee5 Premium movies and TV shows, and a host of games available to play through the Vi app. If you still have mobile data left over after these streaming services, Vodafone Idea will allow up to 200GB of data rollover as well.
