Vodafone Idea (Vi) Rs 49 pack has been refreshed with more benefits for the telco’s prepaid subscribers. This recharge pack now offers more data. It’s worth mentioning that the Vi Rs 49 recharge pack isn’t one with validity but it’s a booster pack that you can get purely for more data usage.
Vi Rs 49 plan now offers more data
- With Vi’s Rs 49 recharge pack, you can get 20GB of data. Previously, the telco offered only 6GB of data.
- The catch here is that this recharge pack has only one-day validity so you have only until midnight to use the entire 20GB of data.
- Since the data cannot be rolled over once the validity is over, it has to be used up within the one-day timeframe.
- Also, there are no other benefits such as unlimited calls and SMS with the Vi Rs 49 recharge pack.
This recharge plan will only work if you already have one for the validity of your number. This can then be added for extra data. You can get the Vi Rs 49 recharge plan from the Vi app or other platforms such as Google Pay, Paytm, and Amazon Pay.
In comparison with rival telcos, Airtel also offers a data pack priced at Rs 49 with one-day validity. But with the Airtel Rs 49 pack, you get unlimited data and Wynk Music Premium access as well. Reliance Jio also introduced a new Rs 49 data pack that offers 25GB of 4G data. You also get unlimited data but after the 25GB is exhausted, the speed will be reduced to 64Kbps.
Vi is also offering 7.5GB of data with the Rs 75 data pack if you recharge from the Vi app on your smartphone. This data pack comes with seven days of validity. It originally offered 6GB of data but there’s a deal going on the Vi app. You can download the app from the Play Store or App Store.
There’s also a cricket offer for the Vi Rs 699 recharge plan, which is now available at Rs 649. With this recharge plan, you get 3GB of data per day with a validity of 56 days. This recharge plan offer is available only on the Vi app.
