“The handsets with revised price are now available on e-commerce site Flipkart, Vivo e-store”
Vivo has dropped the prices of its Vivo V11, V11 Pro, and Vivo Y81i smartphones in India. The Chinese OEM has slashed the prices of these offerings up to Rs 2,000 and they are applicable from today on Vivo’s official website, Flipkart and Reliance Digital stores. Though Amazon and other retail outlets are still selling the devices with the old prices, they are expected to change in the next few days.
Starting with Vivo V11 Pro, the smartphone with an in-display fingerprint sensor is now available for Rs 23,990, down from its initial price of Rs 25,990. Its younger sibling the Vivo V11, on the other hand, will set you back to Rs 19,990. The handset was launched in India for Rs 22,990; however, it was later revised to Rs 20,990 in October 2018. Lastly, the Vivo Y81i – the budget offering’s retail price has been brought down to Rs 7,990 from its previous MOP of Rs 8,490.
The Vivo V11 Pro is the most premium smartphone in the lot. The handset is currently the most affordable under-display fingerprint sensor in the country. It flaunts a 6.41-inch Super AMOLED display with Halo notch up top. The handset is driven by Snapdragon 660 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB expandable storage. Its rear camera features a dual 12MP + 5MP cameras, while for the front camera the handset gets a 25-megapixel selfie shooter. The phone runs Android Oreo out of the box and houses a 3,400mAh battery.
Interestingly, the price drop comes ahead of the Vivo’s likely V15 and V15 Pro smartphones launch in India. The handsets are slated to unveil at an event on February 20th. The promotional poster of the Vivo 15 Pro has revealed an all-screen fascia with an under-display fingerprint sensor. The phone will also boast of an elevated 32-megapixel front camera from the top edge. Both the Vivo V15 and V15 Pro are expected to be mid-range offerings.
