Vivo Y50 mid-range smartphone has been launched in India after being spotted on Flipkart online earlier today. This is in line with the exclusive report published by 91mobiles. To recall, the Vivo Y50 was introduced back in April and ships with vertically-arranged quad-camera setup, a punch-hole cutout on the front to accommodate the selfie snapper. The Vivo Y50 will look to take on the POCO X2 and Realme 6 Pro in the same segment. Other key specifications of the Vivo Y50 include a 5,000mAh battery, Android 10 OS and Snapdragon 665 SoC.

Vivo Y50 is priced at Rs 17,990 for the single 8GB + 128GB model and will be available for purchase through Vivo India E-store, Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, Tata CLiQ, and across all offline stores from June 10th.

To recall the Vivo Y50 specifications, it sports a 6.53-inch FHD+ iView display with 1,080 x 2.340 pixels resolution and a punch-hole cutout at the top left corner to accommodate the selfie camera. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC coupled with Adreno 610 GPU, 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 256GB. The handset boots Android 10 with Funtouch OS custom skin on top. Connectivity options could include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a 3.5mm audio jack.
In terms of optics, the Vivo Y50 features a quad-camera setup on the back consisting of a 13MP primary shooter, an 8MP wide-angle lens with 120 degrees field-of-view, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP 2cm macro sensor. For selfies and video chats, there is a 16MP sensor on the front. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The phone comes with 5,000mAh battery.
