JioCinema ‘ad-free’ subscription plan details
Without revealing exact details, JioCinema, via X (formerly Twitter), has confirmed that it will bring a new subscription plan on April 25th.
The 15-second video, posted on JioCinema’s handle, did not specifically mention a new plan without advertisements. However, it addresses the issue of advertisements interfering with the viewing experience, even for those who pay for the premium subscription.
Therefore, we anticipate seeing a new ‘ad-free’ subscription plan. The platform has yet to reveal details about the upcoming plan officially.
Additionally, reports say the upcoming subscription plan might support 4K streaming with downloading capabilities.
JioCinema plans
The pricing details of the upcoming plan are not known at the moment. However, the current plans are priced at Rs 999 for yearly subscriptions and Rs 99 for monthly subscriptions, and they are not entirely ad-free, even for premium subscribers.
These plans include content from HBO, like Euphoria, The White Lotus, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, and Game of Thrones, among others, and support up to 4 devices. On the other hand, JioCinema has the exclusive streaming rights for Pokemon in the country, with about 20 movies and over 1,000 episodes.
Stay tuned for more updates as the pricing and other details about the upcoming subscription plan are anticipated to be revealed tomorrow.
