Tata Motors has refreshed its Tata Nexon EV MAX for the 2023 model year and has launched the electric SUV in a new #Dark Edition avatar. The centre of attraction on this new special edition model is the 10.25-inch HARMAN screen with improved software and a more intuitive UI. This new addition will be available only in the #Dark Edition model for now and the Dark Edition is only being offered on the top two trims, XZ+ Lux and XZ+ Lux with the 7.2kW charger.

2023 Tata Nexon EV MAX Dark Edition price in India

The 2023 Tata Nexon EV MAX Dark Edition has been launched in India at Rs 19.04 lakh (ex-showroom). This is about Rs 55,000 more expensive than the standard model thanks to the inclusion of the new touchscreen. The Nexon EV MAX Dark Edition is finished in a Midnight Black paint shade with Satin Grey and Blue accents. The vehicle will be offered with 8 years or 1,60,000 km on the battery pack and 3 years or 1,25,000 km on the vehicle.

The 2023 Tata Nexon EV MAX Dark Edition debuts the Harman-sourced 10.25-inch infotainment screen in the Tata Nexon lineup. The new unit is a major step up from the previous infotainment unit and puts it on par with its rivals. The system has been reported to be fluid and offers wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The unit will also accept commands in English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu and Marathi. 

The 2023 Tata Nexon EV MAX Dark Edition continues to get a sunroof, an air purifier with AQI display, cruise control, a wireless smartphone charger, a cooled glove box, rear air conditioning vents, an electronic gear selector with display, alloy wheels, four disc brakes, etc. 

Tata Nexon EV MAX uses an electric motor that develops 143hp of peak power and 250Nm of peak torque. This is paired with a 40.5kWh battery pack and delivers a claimed range of 453km. The EV also gets three driving modes, City, Eco and Sport, as well as regenerative braking. The Tata Nexon EV MAX can be charged using a 3.3kW or an optional 7.2kW charger which takes about 15 hours and 6.5 hours to charge from zero to 100 percent, respectively.
