Kia Motor‘s first premium EV offering, the Kia EV6 crossover, will become available to interested buyers again as the Korean automaker plans to bring in the second batch of vehicles. The EV crossover has been well-received by buyers and critics alike and has reached 432 buyers, being imported as a CBU unit. The EV boasts up to 708km of certified range while churning out 325hp of peak power.

Kia EV6 bookings

The Kia EV6 electric crossover will become available for purchase again from April 15th onwards when the Korean automaker brings in the second batch of its EV crossover. The Kia EV6 is sold in India as a CBU import and hence is not available for bookings consistently. According to the company, the numbers are almost four times of what was originally anticipated.

The prices of the Kia EV6 remain unchanged, so the Kia EV6 GT Line will be available at Rs 60.95 lakh and while the GT Line AWD will sell for Rs 65.95 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be available in Runway Red, Yacht Blue, Moonscape, Aurora Black Pearl, and Snow White Pearl colour options. Bookings can be made via the company’s 60 outlets in 44 cities from the said date.

Kia EV6 specifications

The Kia EV6 is offered in two drivetrain options, RWD and AWD which produce 229ps (350Nm) and 325ps (605Nm) of peak outputs. Both variants use a 77.4 kWh Lithium-ion battery pack that can be fast charged via a 350W DC charger and can be topped up from 10 to 80 percent in 18 minutes. The AWD delivers a claimed range of 708km. The EV is equipped with an electric sunroof, a wireless charger, two 12.3-inch screens, eight airbags, a powered driver seat, a heads-up display, and an electric tailgate. 

The prices of the Kia EV6 remain unchanged, so the Kia EV6 GT Line will be available at Rs 60.95 lakh and while the GT Line AWD will sell for Rs 65.95 lakh (ex-showroom).
