Tech giant Amazon and ride-hailing platform Uber have announced the second phase of their partnership, which involves a 5 percent cashback offer on every Uber ride for Amazon Prime subscribers. Take a look at the benefits that Amazon Prime subscribers are eligible for.
Discounted Uber rides for Amazon Prime subscribers
- As a part of the collaboration of both companies, Amazon Prime subscribers will be eligible to receive a 5 percent cashback on every Uber ride they take.
- The reward is split into two parts – 4 percent credits in Uber Cash and 1 percent cashback in Amazon Pay.
- Those users who opt to pay for their Uber ride using any other payment method such as cash, credit/debit card, UPI, or any other mode will not be eligible for any reward.
How to receive cashback on every Uber ride?
- In order to receive cashback, make sure that your Amazon Prime membership is active.
- Then, you need to connect your Amazon Pay balance to your Uber wallet.
- When paying for your Uber ride, use your Amazon Pay balance as the payment method.
- Every Tuesday, 4 percent cashback will be added to your Uber Cash balance for the trips you took in the previous week.
- Additionally, at the end of each ride, 1 percent cashback in Amazon Pay will be automatically added to your balance, as per Uber.
