Huawei Mate X 5G foldable smartphone will launch in India this year, company confirms

Going by the European pricing, the Mate X could end up being priced around Rs 1,80,000. The Huawei Mate X is a foldable smartphone with a proprietary Falcon Wing Mechanical hinge. When folded, the phone has a 6.6-inch AMOLED display, which expands to an 8-inch screen when unfolded. There’s also a third screen when the device is in its folded state, which can be used to take selfies. The device is powered by the Kirin 980 processor, which is paired with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. A 4,500mAh battery is included in the package, with support for Huawei’s 55W SuperCharge fast charging tech. A triple-camera setup is also available that acts as both the front and rear camera. The Mate X also comes with the Balong 5000 5G chipset, which also supports 2G, 3G and 4G.
