iQOO entering India in February with the country’s first 5G-enabled Snapdragon 865 phone

iQOO, which launched in China as Vivo's sub-brand in February 2019, has officially announced that it will be entering the Indian market. This is in line with 91mobiles exclusive report a couple of days ago. While our previous report mentioned iQOO will make its debut in March, the brand is now looking to enter earlier as it has confirmed it will launch its first smartphone in the country in February. Moreover, iQOO claims it will launch India's first 5G smartphone with a Snapdragon 865 chipset. While its name has not been revealed yet, the upcoming iQOO handset will be a global launch in the Indian market. Additionally, the phone will be gaming-focused and pack the "best battery technology."
